This year USS is celebrating two big milestones, the first is this month when Julie Wiseman our HR & Office Manager celebrates 7 years of working at USS.
Julie said “Joining USS was the best decision I made, I’ve learnt so much in the 7 years that I’ve been here and am still learning. No 2 days are the same and even through the last couple of years which have been challenging for us all, I’ve still felt that I added value to the business. I can’t wait to see what the next 7 years bring.”
Director Paul Vincent said “I can’t imagine the business without Julie, she juggles so much on a day to day basis and never seems phased by any of it. Prior to Julie joining I was trying to do everything but now I can focus on spending time with existing clients and promoting the business which has enabled the company to grow in the last 7 years knowing that Julie will take care of the rest.”
The second milestone is that in September we celebrate 30 years in business. Originally established in 1992 predominately as a window cleaning company our range of services have extended in that time to incorporate a wide range of cleaning solutions for our commercial customers from daily and periodic office and retail cleans to carpet and upholstery cleaning, back of house and front of house hotel cleaning, deep cleaning and anti-viral fogging and specialist window cleaning.
Director Paul Vincent said “I couldn’t be prouder of what we have achieved in the last 30 years and am so grateful to all of the clients that have supported us and recommended us to other businesses, we now have a client base across a wide range of sectors and in fact only yesterday received a call from a new client enquiring about our office cleaning because she was so impressed with the cleanliness of a local beauty salon that she visits that we clean. A big thank-you goes out to all our staff too, our turnover here at USS is lower than the norm across the cleaning sector and I’ve no doubt that without our fantastic supervisors and operatives USS would not be as successful as it is today.”
