In the UK someone attends A&E every 11 minutes after sustaining an injury involving a ladder.
A recent safety report from The Ladder Association also showed that in 2022, over 80% of commercially available telescopic ladders failed safety tests and worse still over half were sold as being compliant despite being unsafe and potentially dangerous.
Director, Paul Vincent is an experienced window cleaner ‘having been on the tools’ giving him the insight required to ensure windows are cleaned safely when working at height and carry out the appropriate ladder inspections prior to them being used.
Paul says “Understanding the operational side of window cleaning and having been cleaning windows for over 30 years allows me to be able to look at safety procedures from a better perspective. We still use ladders for traditional window cleaning when needed but have the option to use mobile access equipment or the reach and wash system too enabling us to tailor our window cleaning services to give our customers the best possible clean.”
