The Cleaning Industry Awards are being announced and several new award programmes have been declared.
The CSSA which our Office Manager Julie Vincent is on the management body of has declared that it is launching a new awards programme celebrating the ‘Best of British’ designed to commemorate the finest working that UK-based cleaning and FM companies have to offer.
The CSSA is urging firms, big and small to get involved. Chairman, Doug Cooke said “The cleaning industry contributes £8bn to the UK economy each year and this justifiably merits it to be recognised and represented by those that want to uphold the objective of safeguarding the reputation and standing of the cleaning industry.”
The awards are being sponsored by some of the biggest names in the industry and there will be 6 categories and the winners will be announced at the London Cleaning Show on the 15th March next year.
It’s great news for the cleaning industry,especially if it means the cleaners on the front lines are getting the praise and recognition they so rightly deserve.
Entries open on the 14th November with submissions closing on the 24th January 2017.
In addition to the industry awards we will also be asking for nominations for our Employee of the Year award and look forward to announcing the winner next month.
