2017 saw The Cleaning Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA) raise £14,000 for The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB).
It is estimated that there are over two million people in the UK suffering with serious sight problems and that many of them do not get the support they need meaning that sight loss can lead to the person affected feeling isolated.
The money raised by the CHSA and its members will be used for the production of audiobooks which are available free of charge to blind and partially sighted people through the charity and are a lifeline for people suffering with sight problems.
The Chairman of the CHSA said “We are delighted to have raised so much for the RNIB. It is a charity close to my heart and it is wonderful to be able to make such a significant donation which is all thanks to the generosity of our members.”
