A window cleaning drone has been announced the 2018 winner of the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.
The 19 year old inventor from Australia beat over 1500 participants worldwide to scope the award.
The prototype is a flying robot that can be tethered to the roof of a building and lowered down to the windows to clean. The rotors then move the drone away from the window before the spray nozzle hoses the window and rotating pads wipe away the suds.
The autonomous window cleaning robot can be used in up to 28 mph winds and would see a revelation in high rise window cleaning.
